There
is self-catering accommodation in two apartments,
both are within the main house which retains many
original Spanish features. If you are a large family
or group you can have the two for a reduced rate.
All rooms have central heating, should you come
in the colder months and all are furnished beautifully
to ensure a really comfortable stay. You will find
all you need for a good breakfast provided in your apartment on arrival, if you would like it served in the dining room or on terrace daily/sometimes that is possible, with a small supplement of €6 each.
There are several good restaurants in Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco,
attractive small towns nearby (7 - 15 mins drive). Lovely lunches (tapas),
picnics and dinner are available on request, served (weather permitting) on the terrace in the romantic pergola or under the stars if you prefer! Linen
and towels are provided. Use of washing machine and internet if needed. Non smokers only.
Almendra
apartment
This
is a one bedroomed ground floor apartment,
with large lounge/diner, kitchenette and
shower-room. It has a private access and
patio with amazing views over the mountains
and hills. If you are an artist you might
not move very far! At night you look over
the valley towards Velez Blanco and the
C16th castle palace, whose lights give a
romantic touch. The bedroom has an emperor- size bed that can be split into a twin if required.
The tall ceilinged lounge is very light
and sunny, with a very comfortable large double sofa
bed, so that the apartment can sleep four or
five with an extra single bed. If the two bedroomed apartment upstairs is booked and you need a two bedroomed apartment we can offer another bedroom to the Almendra, sleeping 2 or 3.
There is also Sat TV/DVD on request.

Cerezo
apartment
This
can be either a one or two bedroomed apartment
according to your needs. It is on the first floor,
with private access via external steps.
There are two large bedrooms, each
with lovely private terrace and steps down to
the pool. One bedroom has double bed with large en-suite bathroom,
the other has twin beds with adjacant shower-room. The
lounge/diner has a kitchenette and very comfortable
sofa bed (with access to the shower-room via second
door). Potentially the apartment can sleep 7 as
an extra single bed can be added to either bedroom. There is also Sat TV/DVD on request.
Almendra
y Cerezo
If
you require a 3 or 4 bedroomed apartment you can
have both for a reduced rate, sleeping a maximum
of 12 people with the addition of a couple of extra beds.
Food
Each
apartment has a well equipped kitchenette and
there is a lovely built-in barbeque near the pool
which you can use too. There are good shops in
Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco (7 - 15 minutes).
If
you require other meals, prices are: Lunch (tapas)
€5, picnics €5, dinner €10 -
€16 for 1 - 3 Courses. Your hosts love to
use home grown herbs and specialise in Mediterranean
foods, especially paellas and Moroccan dishes!
